App Settings Overview
The App Settings module in CloudHR allows administrators to configure global defaults, attendance rules, plan-specific modules, branding, and social links.
This central interface ensures consistent settings across the application and enforces plan-specific rules.
1. General
Configure global defaults for your organization:
- Language – Default language for the application.
- Shift – Default shift options for employees.
- Weekly Off – Default weekly off configuration.
- Date Format – Display format for dates (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY).
- Time Format – 12-hour or 24-hour format.
- Locale – Regional settings for formatting numbers, dates, etc.
- Currency – Default currency for financial or payroll calculations.
2. Attendance
Define policies and defaults for employee attendance tracking:
- Attendance Tracking Policy – Choose how attendance is tracked:
- Manual Check-in
- Team Logger
- Geo-Fencing (plan-specific)
- Default Attendance Type – Applied if no plan is assigned at employee creation.
- Enable Project Tracking – Tracks project and task time including breaks.
- Enable Face Recognition – Toggle for mobile app check-ins using face recognition.
3. Modules
Manage plan-specific modules and toggle them on or off:
- AI Enabled – Enables AI-powered features in the system.
- Payrolls – Enables payroll module.
- Project Management – Enables project and task tracking module.
- Geo-Fencing – Enables geo-fencing for attendance.
Modules are visible only if included in the assigned plan. The Attendance module reflects this visibility, and all modules are enabled by default.

Configure branding and default routes for your organization:
- Lettermark – Short code or initials used in headers or documents.
- App Logo – Upload your company logo.
- Home URL – Default route the logo links to in email headers.
5. Socials
Manage links for company social accounts to include in email footers:

- X (Twitter)
